ABOUT US
Blue Mountain Llewellin Setters is a breeder of Llewellin Setter dogs and Gun Dog Trainer. We breed for natural hunting ability, desirable gun dog traits and the gentle nature of a family companion dog. Gun dog training is available for starting, finishing your hunting dog and working on a specific problem with the training of your bird dog.
The Llewellin Setter is a beautiful choice for an upland bird hunting dog and our dogs also make wonderful family companions. They are gentle and loving, they desire your companionship and they love to hunt.

We are a small breeder, located in central Virginia. Following an early retirement dream, we began our small breeding business in northern New Hampshire. Formerly from Maryland, we purchased our small farm in the hills of Blue Mountain in New Hampshire and started living the country life with our beautiful llewellin setters. In 2020, we decided to move to Virginia to be a little closer to our grandchildren and enjoy milder winters giving us more time to train our dogs.
We love our dogs and spend our time with them outside, hunting, training and running the fields on our farm.
